You prepay everything on one invoice before we go, the state's fees included. At the counter, we advance those fees to SDAT out of our own pocket on your behalf, so nothing holds up your filing.
You also pay the state's own filing fees at cost and the $9 SDAT charges to pay by card. If the counter runs past 30 minutes, it's $1 a minute after that. On jobs with more than $300 in state fees, a filing fee advance applies; the SDAT filing guide spells out every fee.
